Giulietta Spider in new movie "9"
I think it is the movie "9" but I could be wrong...did anyone happen to catch the blue Giulietta spider in the advertisement a new movie that is coming out soon? Several shots of the car. I saw the spider and dang near leaped off the couch. I think I scared the wife when I said, "Look there is a Alfa spider!"

Hi Velocedoc
There have been quite a few posts about this movie, see Sophie Loren in an Alfa, unfortunately can`t find my own when I witnessed the filming in Piazza del Popolo, Rome in January with SL and Daniel Day-Lewis. The movie is a musical based roughly on Fellini`s 81/2. Apparently a tribute to him!

I saw the posts about Sophia riding in the Giulietta. Movie must be close to release if they are advertising. Looks like there is alot of star power in it.

Actually, 9 is based on the Broadway musical of the same name, which was based on the Fellini film. A movie based on a musical based on a movie. Weird. (8 1/2 is one of my favorite films, after La Dolce Vita.)

here's the trailer
a flash of the white giulietta at 1:08, then a short speeding road shot at 1:30, and another flash near the end.
(note: this movie, "NINE," is not to be confused with the very different animated film "9" from Tim Burton, also out this year...how's that for bad marketing timing?)

See my post in the thread "alfas in the movies", there is a link to the trailer. I saw it last night and did the same thing. Much to my family's bewilderment, I jumped off the couch toward the TV to be sure I caught all brief glimpses of that beautiful car (not to mention the actresses).

I'm pretty sure the car is actually that pale eggshell blue. Very pretty.

I caught a glimpse of the Spider in a TV preview, too. It seems that just the hood and windshield was visible. Glad to know I'm not crazy.
