Alfetta LSD

I've trying to figure out if it is possible to get a LSD diff. into an Alfetta transaxle and keep the 4.30 ring and pinion. So far it doesn't look like they ever offered a LSD in an Alfetta. If anyone has a way of fitting one please let me know.

Lsd

Ive had numerous GtVs and alfettas with LSD,You can buy units from various suppliers, AH motorsports do one I think, Bacci romano do one and colotti also do one.You could also use one from a 75Tpark, I have used these before and uprated the unit, The crownwheel will bolt off your old unit and you fit it on the LSd, you have to check the pinion mesh/backlash and set the preload on the diff bearings.I think if you fit the T spark diff you may have to change the output shaft for T spark which may also require changing the halfshafts and brake discs for the T spark units. this would still be cheaper than buying a new LSd.
Hope this helps

alfetta LSD

The LSd unit will fit inside ok, have mixed and matched final drives and gears over the years, basically the same casing , few differences in speedo drive on older and newer cars ie. gear driven speedo or toothed inductive picup on later cars, also gear linkage as most of us know.
main differences as I said in the output shafts, which is easy to change with 4 allen bolts, same calipers and swap drives and discs, the 75 drives bolt straight to outputs with allen bolts sandwiching the disc, alfetta has the spacer.
Have just done this mod to another 79 alfetta gt for a friend of mine, was simple enough.
