Unfortunately two holes were drilled to install it, otherwise the logo would be gone. Perhaps I'm a weakling but these cars are a ***** to turn at low speeds so I ordered the largest one I could find. At one point I modified my steering column so I have a wider range of up and down movement with the wheel.

I wouldn't go with less than a 15" diameter wheel on my GTV-6 because of the steering effort you mentioned and I think anything smaller would partially obstruct my view of the tach and speedo.

Steering lightened dramatically on my '84 GTV 2.0 when I replaced the tyres with the width specified in the owner's manual. Handling improved as well so it was a winner all round.

Instrument obstruction isn't a problem with the earlier Alfettas - there's only the one dial behind the wheel!
