I have a 1986 GTV6 with a 2.5 litre engine. In August last year it started to suffer an intermittant misfire, fouling the plugs, running like a tractor, pouring unburnt fuel and foul black smoke out the exhaust ( I think my carbon emissions went through the roof)
Off to various mechanics, including the local factory trained guru, and the auto electricians who eventually decided it might be the fuel air sensor. Tracked one down and replaced original (which was unfortunately thrown out by the garage before I retrieved the car

) with no improvement.
Local Guru then took the car for 2 weeks, couldn't figure out what was wrong but eventually found an earthing problem with the injectors about $1500 later

. This seemed to fix it but now it's back.
Anyone have anything similar or have any thoughts or suggestion?
