Definitely good sound deadeners for the squeak.
We have to remember here that the car is, um, Italian. Roughly nine out of 10 Italians are tremendously short, even if the other one is so tall that an "average" Italian is spot on the average height for the rest of the world, too.
I'd also like to point out that there's even less head/legroom in the back of a 159. In fact, I think the only Alfas since the GTV6 with
more legroom have been the 90 (200mm longer wheelbase), 164, and 166. Maybe the 146/7/9 sneak in as well due to being hatches, but honestly I've never been interested in them.
I have fit grown ladies in the back seat of my GTV6. Admittedly one of the had her knees around my seat, and the other was 5'2, but anyway
Couple of minutes is giving it a bit of a margin, isn't it? I think the hardest part of the operation is getting them out of the car (conveniently the last time I did it I was also taking the front passenger seat out).
