'75 Alfetta sedan in CT on eBay

eBay Motors: Alfa Romeo : Alfa Romeo (item 320243908312 end time Apr-30-08 13:48:13 PDT)

Check it out, for a car on the east coast this is quite nice... no connection to it on my part, although I wish there was.

Nice. Well, thanks to your tip I've just blown my Alfetta budget on a nice set of Euro bumpers, so this one would have to go to someone else even if I had the space

Congrats on the bumpers - you won't regret it (especially when you're removing the old 80 lbs ones)!

Hey Jeff, you need to add this one to your data base.

Someone needs to buy this car.

I'm on it Bob - have already printed up the auction and saved the pictures to the hard drive. Getting ready for the Snowball Rally tomorrow - so the database update will need to wait until I get back. How's your car coming along?

I didn't do a whole lot on the car during the winter since it was so cold - I renovated a bathroom instead! Got the doors on and adjusted for gaps and all door seals cleaned and reapplied. My painter is supposed to come over this weekend to do final sand and buff of the clear coat. There were a couple of detail spots under the hood that I was unhappy with so I am doing a little touchup there as well. I will update the site with new pics soon.

So, let me see if I correctly understand... You don't want anyone to save this car so that you can buy it cheap and part it out? Gee thanks, but knowing that, I wouldn't buy a part off of you if it was the last one available in the world!

Sorry but I do plan on restoring the Alfeta. My next project? Just it comes with extra parts. Also I didn't say I would sell any parts, but will make the parts that I don't need available.

Oh i like this game!
So because I bid three days before you, does that mean i can tell you not to bid after i put in my last second winning bid one day and eighteen hours from now?

-DUN DUN DUN- The plot thickens!

Ditto on not parting this out.

Sorry didn't know anyone else here bid on it. if you want the alfa I will not raise my bid ,$925,just hoping that members would not start a bidding war and i will not also. If you do buy it maybe you can swing by Ware Mass for a beer and chat.
Good Luck

At 30 miles away, I'd have e-mailed the seller to come see the car and bring cash in your pocket ... Quick someone in California buy this car (never mind that shipping it will more than double the price of the car!), put a near race prep engine in it and drive it on street ... it is afterall a 75!

Glad to see this car's going to a good home either way.... amazing that there's actually more than 1 bidder for an Alfetta.

There, I said it.
