Stripping a GTV-6

I've concluded there's just way too much bondo and body damage to financially make restoring my gtv-6 financially feasible. I've been fortunate enough to find a good running gtv6 to drive without the hassle of restoration. So my black gtv6 will be going to the crusher. What do you all suggest I should strip to keep my "new" gtv-6 running over the next decade or so? I'm thinking the interior, seats, back seats, dash, and glass so far. This would include the doors and hatch. Is it worth it to strip anything else? Maybe the hood? I'm pulling my 3.0 and putting it in my gtv6 once I get some more time.

Thanks!
Danny

honestly..if it was me i would park the bondo bucket and pull parts as needed "if" you can...if not pull it apart for ever last nut and bolt..stash what you can in the garage and stuff what you can in the attic(you would be supprised at how much of a car you can get into your normal attic space)

anything you dont want/need offer up to everyone here....i would scrap nothing but a body shell....and even then it would be a minimal shell...as id save some areas in case of damage to the driver(if theres any areas worth saveing that is)....if you do part it im looking for another trunk lock..and the black plastic panel on the tail of the car between the tail lights

hell someone might even want the whole car as it sits?

Save the shell too! I had to buy and have the bodyshop cut apart a trashed GTV6 for front and rear quarter panels, etc., only parts I was able to find were partial panels from Alan at Wolf Steel. That was in 2004, don't think supply has improved since then.

I've been told that front air dams especially are next to impossible to find in the US. so maybe the posted suggestion of just parking the whole car and remove what you need when you need is the best idea if space permits

I wouldn't send it to the crusher. One day you will find you need a bracket or some other little part that's unobtainable.
