Transaxles & Posi Identification

Is there a way to tell if a GTV 6 / Milano transaxle is equiped with Posi and what set of gear ratios are in it from the outside?

The Markings on the box state the vehicle number as ZARDA1248J1051896 and the bottom of the tranny case is stamped C47717.

( yes I can engage a gear and rotate the input and count the axle rotations for the ratios and I can also hold one axle and spin the other but based on the temp, lub oil and the state of the posi - as well as not getting dirty I'm looking for part number references or casting differences like the older cars )

thanks, Chris

a limited slip can only be ID'd by opeing the case or driveing it HARD..PERIOD end subject

gear ratios "can" be counted by rotating the tirse but is it realy that hard to pop open the case side and check?
