ebay key blanks: Any good??

Hi all,
I searched for a thread about a good source for a blank key for my gtv6, but only found a couple of similar mentions. Does anyone have experience with the blanks that are floating around on ebay for the gtv6? I am not sure if I can get these keys cut at a regular "hardware type" store or if they are really specialized?? Any leads/advice would be great. I am looking to make a spare.....

Dan

Hello Dan, you should take a look at this thread Alfetta Key blanks

Here I posted the link for a company that sells keyblanks and offers keys-cut-to code, I bought my keys from them and I am very pleased.

I bought keys from keys4classics on eBay. My local shop then cut them for free for me without problems!!

I have bought the pre-cut keys from ebay in Australia and they are faultless.
Email the code on the existing key and they post a copy.

The GTV6 door keys are a special key.. if you want to get them cut locally you'll need to check around for a decent locksmith. It's not cheap around here.
