79 Alfetta sedan for sale

Just sharing this ad I saw on Philadelphia Craigslist. Looks very clean and says 0 miles on it.

1979 Alfa Romeo Alfetta 2000 - Bensalem, Pennsylvania

I hope it sells for that! It makes our cheap Sedans worth more and more. It looks like that one that sold on e-bay not too long ago. Was it around 12k or 13k bucks?

I don't think it's the same car. The eBay car had the optional mags and I think it had chrome wheel lip trim as well.

If it really hasn't been driven more than a few K it's probably worth it...

The dealer says it has 3000 original miles on the car not a rebuild. It was repainted by the owner because it was stored under some plastic tarp and that ruined the paint.

Do you guys/gals know why we are really lucky to have Alfas?? Look what morons can and will pay for an MG.

Search results for mgb in Cars & Trucks

These rotten cars only have FOUR fuses in the fusebox while a good Alfa has at least ten or eleven, sometimes even more

This is a good sign of things to come if it really sells for this much. I had many an MGB-GT(six) and I paid next to nothing for them because they were/are junk.
It's all demand.
For $17,950.00 this one even comes with a Chiltons manual in the trunk

eBay Motors: MG : MGB (item 320217367945 end time Mar-03-08 16:08:21 PST)

It says the proceeds all go to some children's charity - wonder if that means it's tax-deductible??

Yeah, no doubt. Compare the MGB to ANY spider and it's just no comparison. Compare the B-GT to the GTV and well... 'nuff said.
