GTV-6 Body Kits
Does anyone know of any aftermarket body kits for the GTV-6. I have a Milano and got the Evo kit with it, and my older brother has a GTV-6 he has done some work to and was looking for a body kit for it. Anything like the IMSA kit for the milano out there for the GTV-6?
Thanks!

Try these guys. 'Haven't bought anything from them in a long time, but they used to carry the Gran Turisimo kit. Alfa Romeo Parts - Alfa Ricambi - AR Ricambi click "Parts Catalog", "Body Kits".

AR Ricambi Grand Prix Kit
AR Ricambi used to sell a kit from Italy (Lester) that I didn't like because it had fussy details. This looks more like a real GP on the sides, but the front and rear bumper covers are still a bit fussy.
Does anyone know if this is the Lester kit or something else?
This pic is from the AR Ricambi web site.
Thanks
Rex

Yes, that is the more conservative and (subjectively) better looking lester kit. I am using just the front bumper right now, have not yet had the rear painted. Not using the wheel arches or side skirts.

I am looking over them right now. Is the Lester kit still available?

I think so, if you are patient. I think Jason (see 164 forum) might have had a lead on that, perhaps some of the other guys as well. If you go to the Lester web site you'll find a dealer in Fresno, don't know if they could help you...

Wasn't there once a Zender kit as well? I may be wrong on this. My favorite styling is still like this one (it's cheap too!).

The Real Deal
Note no fruity waves on the front and back. Also note much neater treatement where the arches meet the side skirts.
The only way to fly.

Rex, That's the best looking GTV6 I've ever seen! Is that your GTV6?
Sorry for the mini-hijack, hmacris, but I just had to ask.
Best regards,

Sadly, no. But its my goal. This is a real Alfa Romeo GTV-6 Grand Prix. They were sold in Europe and in Australia in 1987. As you may know, 1986 was the last year for the GTV-6 in the US.
There is a guy in Australia who makes copies of these factory pieces, which put all other kits to shame. My efforts to get his interest in making one to ship to the US have been unsuccessful. I expect he has been there before and found shipping costs to be daunting.
I'm not sure how to proceed, but I'm open to suggestions.
