Yes that was us! It was a really crappy, snowy night. The door on my GTV-6 froze so it wouldn't latch. I think that we were the only ones there driving an Alfa. I think we also won two of the door prizes. I only looped it once that night on the way to the Thirsty Turtle after dinner for some pool and refreshments. She still married me knowing that I was an Alfa dork.
There is no accounting for taste....

Yeah, ok I thought that was you! I sat at the table with you and Andy, the club president at the time. I remember your door got stuck. You were running the car hoping it would warm up enough to unfreeze.
I think everyone else didn't want to frighten their Alfa with the salt. On second thought maybe that's why your Alfa's door froze... it was getting back at you.

That poor car is still around. It runs like a bat out of hell but when the current owner told me one day. "Hey man... That car will still do 140 mph easy!" All I thought about is how did it not explode from the rust I guess that salt is bad for them. Have you talked to Andy. I think the last time I saw him was in Nashville at the convention.
