I researched Stebro when searching for an exhaust for my GTV. I liked the idea of S/S cause they are pretty indestructable and rustproof - I have S/S on our DD's but the faults I heard with Stebro were fitment issues, promised delivery times that didn't happen and poor customer service. Well that and the price was 4X over what I finally paid for a CISAM system from IAP. I'd rather hear the motor when revving anyway instead of exhaust boom.

Hey Charlie, cool vid. Funny thing, my car sounded like the car the video was filmed from (Spider?). When I bought mine was the time to buy Canadian IMO. Now that the US$ has tripped and fell on 'ol George's nose, I'd rather cobble something together made here...

BTW - Nice spacers I bought from you. Still haven't installed them as the extended lug nuts won't go through several of the holes on the stock campy's (need to ream a little).

Best regards,

Wow, the prices of Stebro's have really gone up - I paid less than 600 for my setup a few short years ago. I know the exchange rate is off, and the price of stainless is up, but thats like a 3x increase.

Cant complain about the exhaust though.

My first GTV6 came with a Stebro cat back installed already. It was 5-6 years old when I got the car. It looked practically new. The thing sounded like nothing else. I really can't believe how good it sounded. Still, $1700 is seriously steep.
