To remove only the transaxle
Raise and support the car as high as possible
Remove clutch fluid by bleeding
Remove rear brake fluid by bleeding
Disconnect clutch and brake lines
Secure lines away and cover to prevent dirt from entering the lines
Disconnect half shafts and remove
Remove rear flex disk hardware.....but only this
Using a floor jack support the clutch end of the transaxle
Remove 6 each bolts 3 each side that connect the dedion cross member at the front of the triangle to the body
Lower the front of the transaxle a few inches and the rear flex disk will be much easier to remove...free the drive shaft from the clutch flange
Raise the transaxle back into position and re-install a few bolts
Using MUCH MUCH MUCH CARE postion and SECURE!!!!!!!!!! the transaxle to 2 each floor jacks one at the front and rear
Remove the bolts at the cross member, but do not lower yet
Remove the rear bolt
Lower the rear slightly and slowly always keeping an eye for problems, or something unsafe
Procede to alternate between lowering the front and back until she is free
THIS ASSY IS HEAVY...............BE CAREFUL
