Alfetta Speedometer cables

I just broke off the plastic clip on part of my 79 Alfetta speedo cable while doing some inside-dash electrical repairs. IAP lists 75-78 are available, but not 79. Is there a difference?

Stefano, I thought they'd be the same, too. Part of my clip broke when I put a new cable in. Cheap plastic! I taped the head on and it has stayed put for over a year now. Merry Christmas. -Clark

I know that the 77 and the 79 are different and the sedan and the coupe are different.
I have a 79 coupe dash in my 77 sedan and had to make a holder from some hose clamps and two small metal bars. (It took longer to get the speedo cable installed than it took to re wire the dash.) It has worked now for over two years now. I'd send some pics but my camera is broken.
