It's pretty much my kit, however it was a Milano/SZ kit Alfettish has reconfigured to a GTV6 kit.

Greg, the elbow from the discharge port is on there temporarily. I'll cut the big bit off when I set up the intercooler and refit the radiator.
The big pipes will go once I get the thing going, I just needed to make progress. There'll be lots of time for variations once I'm on the road.

The next step is to find room for the big pump that will circulate the water for the intercooler. I have found a place for the reservoir.
Would there be a problem with mounting pumps inside the car? I was thinking they could be tucked away in the passenger footwell in a box or something. apart from the obvious problems of noise and possible leaks in the car, would the distance from the intercooler be a problem?
Also a similar very large pump needs to be put somewhere for the water injection stuff. Not to mention the reservoir.
Greg, did you put your pump in the boot as well as the reservoir for Super red Verde?

The tank and pump went in the trunk for SuperRedVerde. I think that's the way I will do it from now on. I tried to be a little too clever with the hidden pump and tanks on my GTV6 so I won't do that again. As described on the SuperRedVerde page the hidden tanks caused some problems for my wife. The pump needs to be near and a little below the tank.

The pump for the intercooler has to be mounted low. I like to mount it near the heat exchanger at the front of the car. If you mount it in the footwell you will need to run a lot of extra plumbing. It would have to go between the heat exchanger, pump, intercooler and expansion tank. By having the pump near the heat exchanger you eliminate some distance.

Well did a little bit of work today. I located the pump for the intercooler and started all the hoses. Mock location for the reservoir too.

New to the thread--good project.

On the water injection. You mention into the plenum, but I'm not sure if that is into the intake upstream of the compressor, or into the boosted part?

Curious.

Hi,
It will be injected into the discharge (boosted) plumbing close to the plenum.

Hey guys can we have some updates on these projects. That would be great.

I have a 3.0lt in a alfetta sedan running on a haltech computer and i have been looking at some supercharger kits for it. I am quiet keen on ones that run a lower comp piston thus becoming a non-interferance engine. I know the belt shouldnt break but it would be comforting for me if i was banging the engine of the rev limiter to know that if the belt jumped or failed it wouldnt be by by engine.

Im really gonna need to convert the V6 box to a lsd because i cant get any traction with around 200hp (flywheel) and i would like to chase closer to 260-80.
Anyway im rambling but some updates would be great.
