Hmm. Now that I come to think of it, it was fairly old guy driving and some time back since the last time I saw it (I think I may even have been in my GTV6 so that's November 2005 at the latest. I seriously need to get something done about the bodywork...).
I'm going to want to see this when it's done, as I may be going to try something similar, not in the GTV6 - which I want to keep as stock as possible, but the 90.

I bought this car from Sydney in 2006. There is another very similar GTV6 that I have seen from a distance but not sure about the driver. Unless you're talking about the Alfetta. I bought that in late 2005 from an older couple.
We should get together for a drive or something. I have a 90 without running gear sitting in my mum's backyard, it may be of use to you.

Yes!
Supercharger is back on after I had to make some fine adjustments to the brackets. This kit was, after all, destined for an SZ in Belgium. Belt and and belt tensioner are on and it's looking really good and tight. I had to put the bonnet back on to get a reference point for clearance. Next step is the piping which is proving frustrating with limited time.
I've been very busy lately with other commitments but the project has been on my mind the whole time and I'll be able to get back into it heavily when my schedule returns to normal.

Alfettish I take it you're using an MP62? Is it possible you could post a picture of it? There's one on Ebay I'm interested in and I'm trying to figure out if it's a 62 or not.
Cheers, Scott

Not sure if it's an MP62. If Greg sees this he'll be able to tell you. If not, email him and ask for a pic.

I can help with this a little bit. First I will say if it's a M62 from a G.M. car it's probably not going to fit. I have one here and it's just way too long, at least for a left side mount. The only Magnuson supercharger I see on evil bay right now is a MP112.

Greg, am I able to file about 1mm of material from the forward bracket where the tensioner mounts so that I can line it up perfectly? I can't see that this would make any problems because it's such a small bit of movement.

Hello,
I did some work on the car today with my friend. We ended up breaking the flexible piping on the bonnet latch so had to stray from the original plan slightly.
I have a concern that the long silicone pipe will cave-in when air gets sucked through. Does anyone have any thought?

That's starting to look pretty good. I am suprised you were able to fit that giant air filter in there. I use a smaller one on the GTV6 and that biggie on the Milanos.
The intake side looks fine. It's different from the way I usually do it but that's not a problem. Make sure the AFM is secured so it can't flop around.
The discharge side looks ok to. Those giant 3 inch pipes will consume some boost but that's probably fine for now. I can't figure out what's going on with the coupler at the discharge port. It looks like you have a 3.25" coupler end on a 3" pipe. Perhaps you have the pipe shoved in farther than I thought. You can cut the 3.25" part off which will leave you with a 3"-3" 90 degree coupler.

Some of the factors are semi classified.

I was under the impression this wasn't your kit? Looks good, pity the silicone hoses are not the same colour
