inner fenders

Hi all;

Just curious - given access to a a torch and basic body skills - is this a pit of misery or doable? i.e. within reason?

I would love to see some pics of someone repairing this as well. My Balocco looks the same as this.

I say its fixable, I just don't know where you can buy the new metal body parts.

I have been accumulating the tools to fix this problem over the last few years, little by little. Next is the car rotisserie and I will attack it at full force!

Someone must have some pictures...?

I believe IAP sells a patch panel for the inner fender under the shock support, but I can't speak to its fit. The hood channel repair looks pretty straight forward. I haven't done mine yet, so 'famous last words'.

Yup, at IAP has - at least listed - large poetions of the inner fender and the wheel well. The channels and little boxes look "doable" I think. Hoepfully just leaving the fender tops for "fancy" work...I'm getting a *little* braver. Thanks all.

And, yes, Buffy was wise.

Please take lots of pictures when you do this and post a thread here so we can all follow your lead. I'm guessing at least half the GTV-6s out there need inner fender repair.
