The long and winding road.
Slow but sure, Black Beauty is taking shape.
Paint is looking real good, now we are doing the slow but important job of re-assembly.
Soon, Soon,,.

After a very slow holiday season, back at it. This car and a Balocco I am doing will see big progress in the next couple weeks.
The original bumpers are back on, a little adjustment and they will look great !! Now, interior.

Carry on the good work there, HMA! If I had a GTV6, it would be in black, I do believe.

In order to maintain this threads continuity, a number of off topic posts have been deleted. There is a specific forum for such discussion.

I think I asked before but I'll ask again, have any dyno numbers on the 3L engine? Any other suspension, transmission, or brake mods?
Also have to ask. By not having the original motor in the car and replacing with a 3L, does this change the "collectability" of the car in the future? Does the 43k miles matter anymore if it's not original power train?
I don't know if the original plan was to sell as a modified, restomod.

I'd love to get a dyno of the engine, but my guess is 200 horse.
Only real mods are braided brake lines, Greg's intake and JimRutlefan designed a power harness from the battery to the engine bay upgrade.

I think a 3.0 engine upgrade will increase a cars vale during the 10 or more years
Then, I think originality will become a value point.

I was building this for Jim to be a serious driver.

There's also the new CSC Marmitte rear section exhaust drop shipped from Centerline, as seen in pics above. Like the intake kit, easily reversible, not that I would.

I did a dunk on my 3l Verde and got about 174hp. At 6000 rpm. It had about 80k miles on the engine. Your 3l is from a 164 LS to get over 200hp?
To get to a serious driver maybe some poly suspension mods plus upgraded springs and shocks are in order? You spent so much time already.
