GTV6 1982 lights and turning signal always on??

Hello there: I recently did a job on my GTV6 1982 where I changed the ignition switch. After hooking up all the wires, a suddenly noticed the high beams, stop light and turn signal ALL go on without having the ignition key on the lock. Is this the way GTV6 work or did I wire something wrong?

That's the way they work on my '82

If you mean when you turn the light switch or signal switch to 'on' they work even with the ignition off then yes, that is the way our '81 GTV6 works, too.
