Replacement radiator?

I need to replace my GTV6's radiator for a second time. Instead of sourcing another used one, which might last another two years, is there a known off the shelf alternative available? Something that fits with a minimum of modification?

Depending on your needs you might want to check with Jason @ Alfissimo. He has OEM stock radiators listed, but he also works with a 3rd party to offer HP Aluminum radiators for GTV6,Milano & 164.

Many radiator shops over here can recore an old radiator. As you may know, they keep the upper tank and lower section, and replace the center vanes.

I'm not an expert on this. So, you may want more feedback to decide if this works about the same as a new radiator. Sounds cheaper, at least.

Recoring is expensive here, prices are similar to getting a new one.

So there are OEMs available? None of my regular shops carry them... I see Alfissimo are offering a few other items of interest as well, must investigate further...

Thanks!

Good to know. I do have an extra used one here that has been pressure tested. But, since I'm in the US the shipping may wash out any savings on going used.

I have a couple of dead GTV6s that I keep for extra parts. If, in the future, you need any parts that may be cheap to ship... let me know. Maybe I can help.

Cheers,
Peter

Patjo: I have had two IAP aftermarket radiators. They fit perfectly, no mods, probably 30% extra cooling area and bigger capacity. Temp sensor switch, fans, cap , hoses all fit perfectly. The even have the pegs on the bottom.

The only drawback is price......700$
