It's my understanding that some of the early Scuderia Ferrari trucks were built on OM chassis. Have no idea who built the bodies however...

Ar Ferrari Transporter
I was just looking at the Shell film of the 1953 MM the other night and what makes its very brief appearance but the Alfa Romeo Ferarri transporter . I also noticed that the 3 AR 500 transporters come into view during the Coppa Ciano Livorno 1938 segment of the Daimler - Benz Propaganda film "Sieg Record Meistercraft".
Attached are stills from both films.

That is the Ferrai van that Gila made a model of. Less than 10 were made due to liscencing problems with Ferrari. I am trying to get a few more made. I have no idea who did the coachwork, nor does the person who owns Glia models. He did the model from photos...

Thanks to charley for posting from these film , good or bad , its allways helping ! The one from 1938 shows 3 cars : Alfa took over from Ferrari and that was 1 short plus 2 normal ones . The pic shows also the short one. They did however have 4 Alfa 500 (NAG-Bussing) at the Milan GP in 1938 , so perhaps had one themselves before taking over from Ferrari. Also the picture "shows" the logo to be Alfa Corse wich Alfa used untill after the war.! They might still be in yellow , or repainted in grey!
The 2nd pictures : Did you see the transporter from the front ? Did it have the "typical" Delta grill of Alfa ? Because it does not look very high , and Ferrari got their first look alike Fiat 642 in 1952 , wich it easily could be , and not the Alfa 800 to wich I believe they sold the year before this picture. If it really is the 800 , it proves to me that Ferrari had this car in 1953 too and that Marzotto only had it ,in repainted red form for 1954 , wich some time ago was my first impression.

Ar Ferrari Transporters
Unfortunatly the film of the Ferrari transporter only shows it from the side as shown above, the previous frame is of Ferrari himself.

Thanks again charley , allthough I am sure its not the Alfa 800 , but Ferrari first Fiat642Bartoletti van from 1952 ! The diff. lies at the back end :On the Fiat the list under the rooline stops at the end by the light , whereas on the Alfa 800 it should curve down wards 90 degrees and continue !

I tend to believe that the correct title is "Sieg, Rekord, Meisterschaft" (meaning "win, record, championship" almost like "game, set, and match" in tennis) but haven't found any references to such a file or film.

transporters
Sorry I was working from memory and mispelled the title, it is as you said and as per attachment. I do not have any knowledge of it appearing anywhere on the internet. Portions of this film appear very frequently on any film made about the interwar years .

Among the hundreds (?) of models in tha Alfa Museum, this pre-war yellow Ferrari Transporter is on display. The plaque says it was used for the 1938 Tripoli GP. I don't know much about these vans and don't have any more info as I managed to only get half of the plaque in the frame
A high res version of the picture is here (2592 x 1944 px).

This is probably the picture you're mentioning, Ruedi.
I believe it was posted by Boudewijn, who has posted many great unseen pictures before.

Gila in Italy makes a model of a similar transporter. In fact, it might actually be the same transporter without the trailer, but at a later date, painted a different color..

Given that Kodak and Agfa color film came on the market in 1936, the fact that this is a color picture is quite remarkable.
