The star marks a cool little fried chicken and catfish restaurant that has a nice big patio with picnic tables that over looks the river. There is always a colorful crowed there.
Follow River Drive north up to P51 where it connects to the T intersection P49 & P51, that is my turn around point. Then I go back past the restaurant where River Drive turns into N River Drive then that turns into John J Pershing Drive the fun stops when I get down to Interstate 680.
There is little doubt that Black is fast, but Graphite Grey is very fast as well.
Especially, when equiped with close-ratio first to third gears-- and-- carbon fiber discs in the LSD.
Nebraska Coast Guard!!
Reminds of when William Jennings Bryan was Secretary of something and for the opening of the Panama Canal--he invited representatives from the worlds navies--including the Swiss Navy.
It's a good idea to post the link to the map of your route--nice bit of road.
I can't post the link but Google Map-- U B C Vancouver.
This shows a couple of sets of "twisties" on Marine Drive as it goes around Point Grey. One set of esses has a slight negative camber and a manhole cover that really psychs out my buddy with the A.C. Ace.
Of course, it doesn't bother one old 101 Spider with a fresh, but standard suspension.
That is a nice stretch of road! Love the engine sound too.
Thanks redspider, There usually light to no traffic on the road durning off hours but you still need to becareful in some sections do to blind driveways and there is a bicycle trail that runs next to the road.

Marine Drive sure looks like a fun drive Subtle.........................
We're headed out tomorrow for the weekend with a bunch of Italian Sports Car friends to spend a weekend in the Virginia countryside - straightening out some twisty roads, sampling some wine and taking in the scenery.
Have a great weekend!

Back in '83 or so I had a 'Fear and Loathing' type experience walking the length of the beach around UBC including "Wreck Beach". It was pretty cold, so we just went "bottomless". Had a great time that evening with a bonfire on the beach and a bunch of other college students. Eventually, I had to push my buddy back to his place in a shopping cart....but I digress. Sorry for the memory hijack Murray!
