Racing Italiano

Here's a little video game gift I got:

Racing Italiano: Alfa Romeo
by Valcon
For Playstation 2 (but also plays on PS3)
$4.99 USD

I've played a lot of the driving simulators, and for a PS2, the graphics are as good as they get, and the cars feel very authentic. They're all Alfas from current models, to classics and a bunch of racing models thrown in. Driving the stock cars in the rookie rounds is hilarious, but demanding.

So, if you have a PS2 or PS3, USA version, this would be a fun game, for a very reasonable price. I found this one at Best Buy.

Actually it's
Alfa Romeo : Italiano Racing. (AR:IR)

Recently I have noticed a really large increase in the reports of Drivers who regularly train with simulators in the off season, and all through the racing season. These drivers include F1, Cart, Indy, Nascar, and probably just about every venue of racing.

I'd like to know if the race drivers at this forum use any type of simulated racing training or simply play simulated racing games. I would add that if you have never played a high end racing simulator like the ones in Las Vegas or at race training facilities, you might be surprised at how quickly the senses tune in to the game as a real experience.

I have that game. It's pretty good, but I don't like the fact that every car except the 147 is locked initially. It looks like I would have to slog through a bunch of cars and tracks I am not interested in before I would unlock any of the vintage stuff.

I too received this game as a Christmas present. It has been a blast. I have enjoyed driving the small, Ford Focus looking 147 over the last few weeks and am slowly learning how to control the car and keep up with the pack. Hopefully I can improve and move up to some of the better cars like the old GTA's, a 75, or even the modern 8c.

I found the TZ2 was a blast to drive. The old GTA feels a bit heavy. The drivers are really aggressive about bump and hook.
After watching some of the YouTube in-car videos of various races, it's apparent that there's a lot more rubbing than I thought.
