Does anyone know if this will work in an early 105 Bosch starter motor? My Sprint GT parts book shows a slightly different number. I had to have my field coils rewound at great expense a couple of years ago and it would be useful to have this to rebuild my spare.

Alex,

Woodauto.com shows this field coil as a component to Bosch starter 0001211016. This is the motor assembly number shown in Alphil's posting from a 1300 parts book, and which I have also seen listed for late 1600 and 1750 engines -- seems to bracket your application.

You might want to check your spare starter.

David
