1969-71 GTV Dash wood veneer kit
Complete 5 piece veneer kit for 1969 to 1971 Alfa Romeo GTV 1750 105.51 US Spec. The veneer used is Jatoba aka Brazilian cherry wood. Jatoba is a good substitute for the Teak wood, originally used in the Alfa Romeo GTV interior. The Jatoba is layered on top of a flexible wood backing for enhanced flexibility. This set is manufactured in California to very high standards using a C.N.C. and then hand finished. The switches and light holes, including the stereo hole are drilled per original specification. This set is sold raw. It can be finished to your taste. LHD only. $ 69 + S&H or West Los Angeles free pick-up.

Damned shame it is not available in RHD at that price for I would be keen.

What's up with that photo? I hope it isn't indicative of the quality of the pieces, cause it sure is hard to tell what one would get from that photo.

1969-71 GTV Dash wood veneer kit
Sorry about the quality of the picture. I have a hard time resizing the pics. If you like, I can email the high resolution pics to you. This picture looks terrible!
I had a few sets made for my own. The quality is excellent. It cost me a lot more, however, I envy anyone driving & restoring a GTV 1750.........

I use a freeware program called "PIXresizer" to scale down (or up) photos and it works great....I highly recommend it.

Thank you Rossano. This program works great.
Please note that the stain color (light or dark) and varnish can be applied with your own choice, matching your interior color scheme.
As soon as they are applied, it brings out the wood grain.
I recommend the semigloss "Man O' War" Marine Spar Varnish spray with UV protection, from the local hardware store.

Are the holes already drilled or cut in all the pieces, particularly the radio cutout and dual turn signal indicators? Thanks

Yes. All the holes are drilled & cut out, showing the black cloth underneath. The radio cut is per todays standards, however I also have the "8 Track" size cutout available, which is about 1" wider, upon request.

Are these available without the radio cutout?
And what about the 1971 version? (pics are of the 1969)

Sorry, all sets are cut already. This is the only version available now. I can order the long dash piece without the cutout with a 5 set minimum. Roughly, the cost is about $100/set.

With the exception of one hole to the right of the radio on the long dash piece this looks like it will fit my '71. Does anyone know why this set wouldn't work OK for a '71?

Physically, the pieces will fit but...
in addition to the hole needed in the long dash piece for the rear window defogger switch, the left dash piece on the 71 has five holes (the 69 has three) and the center triangular piece between the gauges has one hole for the single turn signal indicator (the 69 has two holes; one for each left and right indicator).
The defogger switch hole is easy. Just make a hole.
It's also easy to make two holes in the left side dash piece for the indicating lights but the problem is the hazard flasher switch. It's located above the hole where the brake failure warning light sits on the 69.
Currently at a loss as to solving the turn indicator.
Needs pics of the 71 veneers?

Thank you papajam for the details. I am going to get in my car and inspect more closely. It sounds like I need to find the correct veneer kit for a '71 or start from scratch. I'm more comfortable working with a solid wood dashboard than veneer but it seems like it wouldn't be that hard to build the necessary templates. It would just require a lot more time!
