I need one of the above, 140mph electronic version. Maybe a sender unit also from the same car?

Any of you Guy's got one spare for sensible money??

Thanks,

John.

I think I have a 140mph speedo. Again, what year is your GTV6?... As I don't think the 3 wire sending unit works with an earlier 85 or 140 speedo.

Best to contact me directly at: uncleskeeter2@netscape.net

Cheers, Peter

tz779,
Are you talking about the speedo sensor at the trans or the speedometer generator that sits under the seat in the Milano?

my GTV-6 was an early 1986 - later GTVs had "third-eye" brakelight on hatch, anyway, this is the "impulse generator" and i believe it is for late GTV6 and Milano. i did NOT fit my GTV (maybe the three-prong connector was wrong - i can't remember but never sent the part back). it fits in the transaxle - it has a large O-ring for an oil seal. i'll try to get a pic posted so anyone interested can see just what it is. i ordered it form Bobcor and the part number on the box is
0060529120.

Thats a Milano sender, not GTV6. I've been thru this and I believe this sensors worked differently than the ones on the late GTV6.The Milano sensor had an amplifier that went under the back seat, GTV6 did not...

Can't help on the sending unit... but I do have a couple of 140 speedos, if you decide the problem is with the gauge. One would work for the 2 wire sender, and the other for the 3 wire later version. Still need to know what year your GTV is, of course.
