Oh woops, my mistake; I thought he didn't. I was so excited to get the part that I lost my mind.

Wes, I am also still waiting for a reply. I inquired early on; once about an air box and twice about the molds.

Wes,
Do you have the mould? If so, would you consider selling it or re-produce more?
Regards
Jim

Airboxes and Mold
If you haven't heard back from me its because I've sold all the airboxes I have. However a friend of mine has two that he bought a while ago that he isn't going to use. He is taking offers on his. Put your offer here and I'll relay it to him. Currently I have an offer Of $100.00 for one.
I'm also taking offers on the molds themselves. Four different people have expressed interest and testing what the market is.

Wes, Alas based on this and other posts and the single private response you made to me after 3 messages I sent to you, I gather you sold to later responders than I.
Thanks
Ken

Airboxes
Ken,
I only had 6 of these and between people reponding to the thread, sending me PMs and emailing me these went faster then I realized. I sold all 6 within the first hour and since you didn't respond until almost 2 hours later, by then they were all sold. My friend has two for sale and he is taking offer. Offer or not as you choose.

New GTA Air Canister Reproduction
For anyone here interested.
I recently purchased an original GTA air canister with the primary intent to reproduce and sell. The mold is finished and the new units will be an improvement from the original. All units will have a serial number as the original such as AIS26471201/01 etc... AIS for Auto Italia Sportiva. I will make these available soon. However, these will not be $50 as the ones previously advertised given that the cost and time involved exceed that price range. I do not have a final price yet, but will make these available once the first run is completed within the next two to three weeks. I will offer these as an unfinished or finished product. Again, final details to be determined. Please let me know of your interest.
Here are some photos of the original unit

Surprised how keen people are on these things given the headaches involved in fitting them to a standard Alfa - need for bodywork, change/move the radiator, remove inner headlights, etc. - never mind the missing air intake that goes with it to make it functional, the lack of compatibility with available air horns, and issues regarding air filtration
However, I admit they are a seriously cool piece and they are probably good for a significant increase in power at high speeds due to the combined effects of ram and cold air .... it also appears to have a beneficial effect on low speed drivability as compared to open stacks

Agree,
I have been working on a snout prototype to be used with these air canisters. The original snout will not work unless the radiator is replaced.

GTAm or GTA ? Air Box
The original thread was for a GTAm air box. But it appears that Lionel's offering will be a GTA reproduction. I've always been curious about the severe bottle neck on this item in regards to ram air effect not withstanding all the other noted objections. What was actually used on Spica GTAm versions ?(very few I'm sure) and what was used on GTAm with the Lucas Guillotine injection systems for air boxes? . Any good photo examples?
I only have two GTAm pics showing complete system and this is the better of the two. I have shots of Benica's GTAm but that has so many cobbles clustered (experimental)its hard to tell whats real. Photo credit from the Net somewhere.
regards Ross
