VeloceSpace - New Vendor

Dear BB’ers,

I hadn’t earlier publicized that I recently started a company specializing in rubber and upholstery products for our Alfas; sorry for any confusion this may have caused.

VeloceSpace (VeloceSpace) focuses on rubber and upholstery parts for Alfas, Ferraris, Lancias, Fiats, and Maseratis; in fact, we have access to products for most Italian cars, as well as vintage M-Bs and Porsches. We work with the Italian factories which originally supplied these parts to your cars back in the day; they're using the same/improved molds/dies/patterns, so we’re quite sure that you’ll like the fit.

Our rubber lineup would include nearly everything rubber that you’d find on your car, such as weatherstrip for windshields/windows, doors, trunks, rubber mats, and suspension stops, pads, and buffers; let’s not forget seals for soft and hard tops! Upholstery-wise, we carry seat covers, can make interior door/side panels, carpet sets, bulk vinyl and headlining material; we also carry bulk material if you already work with an upholsterer.

For Alfas, we’re well stocked in 750/101 Giulietta parts, and are now starting to inventory 105-series items. We’ve also begun stocking Alfetta/GTV-6 items, and have just sold one set each of the velveted door surround and quarter-window seals to a GTV-6 owner; he likewise ordered one seat cover in Italian leather.

Vintage Ferrari parts is another emphasis of ours, from 250 series (1954) through the late-80s, including 308/328s and Testarossas; we recently sold some targa top seals for a Dino and some engine mounts for a 275 GTB/4 Daytona.

Anything that we don’t normally stock takes about three weeks to order from Italy and deliver to you in the U.S. (we happily ship internationally, by the way). If you own a Bizzarini or an Autobianchi, you’re in luck, three weeks later!

It’s just me and two younger employees running this smallish company, but we will try to provide the best customer service possible to our fellow BB’ers; we may not know everything about every model Alfa, but we’re quick learners.
To start off, how about a 5% discount if you let us know of your BB affiliation (a registered member)? Let’s take an extra 5% off for BB subscribers! The BB is what got me deeply into Alfas, and I’d like to give back to this wonderful community as much as I can. Thanks Simon and Anthony for always doing a great job!

We can be contacted via e-mail at info@velocespace.com, or phone at (408) 441-7788. Our Web URL is VeloceSpace; you will also find the website link in my signature from now on. If you don’t find what you need, give us a call and we’ll see what we can do to help.

Thank you very much, and I look forward to answering your questions by e-mail or right here in this thread on the BB, which I'm hopelessly glued to 12 hours/day as most of you know - even during work hours.

Pat, FYI: the link to your web site in the text above is broken (the one in your signature works) because there's an extra semicolon at the end of the link that prevents the page from resolving properly.

Good luck with the business.

Thanks, Ruedi; I've fixed the bad link. Thanks also to Rossano for providing the correct link.

Do you have more 105 series Spider parts in the plans? Specifically I'm interested in a complete top weatherstripping set for my '67 Duetto.

(I still have many of the original pieces, but 42 years have taken their toll...)

Hello Stopwatch,

We have a full line of rubber (practically every rubber part) for the Duetto and later Spiders, as well as the GT(V)s; we just haven't had time to add them to the website yet, but we hope to do so by the end of next week.

In regards to your request for Duetto hard top seals, we have them all: head bow seal; side seals; rear glass gasket; hard top to body base seal. We have a similar set for Kamm-tail Spiders.

If you send me an e-mail at patrickATvelocespaceDOTcom I can provide more details on pricing and lead-time. Please be sure to include your BB handle!

Forgot to mention that we are being deluged with inquiries for Alfetta/GTV-6 velvet-type door surround and rear quarter window seals - we have them, as well as ones without the velvet (all-rubber). These have already been posted to our website under the Alfetta/GTV-6 category. We are also sourcing a tan-colored fuzzy-type headliner for a customer, and will report back here when we find it.

Thanks for your interest, fellow BB'ers, and I look forward to answering more of your questions here.

Don,

We have a full lineup for the 102/106 cars as well, including all the usual door/window seals, hard top seals, and rubber mats/mat sets. This category will also be uploaded onto the website this coming week. If there's anything in particular that you'd like to discuss right away, I'd be happy to help.

We can also help with your 74 Berlina's parts. Thanks.

Thanks Patrick.

I do not have a 74 Berlina, but I am rebuilding a 102-04. Can you supply the full rubber mat set for the trunk? It is 7 total pieces. If so, please quote to "autotech@flash.net". I'll also need hard-top seals, but not sure just what I have. it is a fiberglass hardtop, so I plan to take pictures of what I need before I order them.
Thanks,
Don

Jr Z bits?

Of course, I have to ask if you'll ever be able to support the small but earnest community of Junior Zagato owners on on the West Coast (in the States for that matter).

I'm going to need carpets, mats, rubber, seat covers, door panels...

I'd probably buy spares, too if it helps to encourage things ;^)

cheers,
Brian

Don,

I can supply the full set of mats for the trunk (7 pieces), and likely the hardtop seals as well, as long as your fiberglass hard top's dimensions are similar to the factory version.

Again, your BB discount is 5%. I'll send the prices to your e-mail address shortly. Thank you.

Brian,

I support all Alfas, as long as the factory behind me does so too!

Yes, we have a full complement of Jr. Z rubber products, including mats and seals. My apologies, but I'll have these listed on the website this week.

I'll need to check if we can source seat covers and door panels for you. Will you be needing vinyl or leather? We can do both.

Patrick,

Thanks. "Discount" is somewhat irrelevant. It is only the combination of net price, quality, and service that matters (not necessarily in that order). I look forward to receiving your quote.

Regards,
Don
