I don't remember where I first saw this car referenced as a Nardi Alfa 6c2300, S/N 55076, circa 1936 "ex-Cortese", but it was at least 25 years ago. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but most likely, it's a "bitsa" built from 2300 parts in the 60s or 70s.

As pointed out in post #10, this car was "built in Eastern Germany behind the iron curtain" and is still for sale.

Hi!

The car in a first post and on the above pictures is called JK Sport. It was created in 1949 by Julius Kubinsky from Czechoslovakia - the designer of Mono JK, JK 2500 Tatra and other cars. Three cars with a name JK Sport were made - one was a roadster with Alfa Romeo engine, two others were BMW powered coupes (326 and 328 engines).

You can compare it to the car shown here:
Automuzeum

And since it is my very first post at AlfaBB I'd like to say that I like this forum a lot thanks to some very rare materials which can be found here.

Regards,
Alexander.

JK Sport - Alfa Romeo

Welcome Alexander!

Thank you for the information and the link to additional background. I was hoping that patience would bring us the answer. Of course, there is still more to learn!

Now, I guess I will have to grab my files one of these days and scan some images that will show additional detail of the car. In any case, it is very good to remove this car definitively from the list of "Nardi" pretenders as those kinds of claims make it much more difficult to identify the true histories of such cars. It will remain in the files of The Italian Car Registry because of the Italian-origin parts used. Again, it would be very nice to learn the engine number (and gearbox?) as well as additional mechanical specifications.

Maybe I should add some detail to this thread about another "Nardi" pretender? Or, maybe it should be a thread all to itself? It is also likely to be a car with an actual history that is very interesting ... but the "Nardi" claim makes it all but impossible for most people (particularly owners) to see beyond that claim. There is a similar case with a claimed "Stanguellini" moniker on a Fiat 1100S chassis which also would like to be clarified.

Again, welcome Alexander and thank you. Thanks also to those who were willing to "doubt" in the face of reports and statements of questionable value.

Thank you for your welcome, John!
Speaking about the engine serial number, I'm afraid I can't be much of help here, but who knows what can be found.

Hi guys, unfortunately I have not found a good picture yet, this car was brought to Venezuela by Abele Cavicchioli in the early 50s and ended in the furnaces of a foundry sometime in the 60s, car was supposed to be an P2 driven by Nuvolari in the 30s with some modifications.
Anyone has a clue of this car?
