Am I imagining things, or did I recently see that a book was published about the Romeo vans?

I don't know anything specific on the Romeo vans. You might be thinking of a new book that just came out on the Mattas (jeeps)

Negri in Italy does a bunch of books on Italian trucks and busses...

there is a great book out now for a couple years about Alfa trucks including Romeos - I highly recommend it for any Alfa "commercial" fan, it has great pictures and english/italian text

The high-roof van mentioned in this thread is one of three, formerly owned by Alfa Romeo itself and used as a mobile office. Only three were built. I don't know if the other ones still exist, but this one is unrestored but in very well condition. Allthough it had unfortunately to be towed when it appeared at the Concourd d'Élégance at Apeldoorn, The Netherlands, last week.

Also on display was a flatbed delivery truck on Romeo 2 basis, unrestored as well but with all the patina.

thanks for posting the pictures Dinky Boy - I really like these vans. I have a Romeo 2 that is awaiting it's restoration.

I think the Dutch silver/blue bus was for sale not too long ago in the Netherlands for lots of $$$ (EUR 40-50k - 'don't remember...)

It's till for sale, there is an artical in this weeks autovisie (dutch car magazine) about Hans bezemer, a dutch car enthousiast.

All the cars he own are for sale (he has about 220 cars), but he only sells the cars if you are also a enthousiast.

This is his site: http://www.hansbezemer.nl

Here you can find the Romeo 2, there is no price mentiont
