Alfa GTA registration 1968-AR

Does anyone perhaps know the chassis number and the history of a 1968 Alfa GTA currently (or at least recently) registered 1968-AR in Australia? I am researching racing/collectors/vintage cars owned in Rhodesia and I believe this car was acquired in Germany by one John Falconer and taken to Rhodesia. Around 1980 the car went to Australia where I am told it was converted to LHD. The car is red now but I believe it was white.
