The meaning of the AR badge

I'm going to post the following "secured" documents to be used as an educational basis for understanding where the variations or interpretations of the elements of the Alfa Romeo badge were born. The documents are exact excerptions with complete citations, and contain the original misspellings and some awkward grammar, or grammar that we are not accustomed to seeing, in some instances.

A couple of additional notes, there are copyright sites and notes to CAROC still contained at the end of the documents. These documents along with several histories of AROC were furnished to CAROC, based on their request for historical information to be reprinted in last year's convention magazine. I'm not sure who made the decision, CAROC or AROC, but rather than seeking permissions to use them in their original form as reprints, some were not included at all; others were summarized and combined by others.

Based on a recent copyright ruling and pending litigation regarding a case involving non-similar products, I'm using the most restrictive copyright provision interpretation, short of not posting the documents at all. To that end, these documents are to be used for educational purposes, research, and comparisons of the birth of the Alfa Romeo badge. The documents are secured and will be removed within 90-180 days.
