Factory Colors

Is there any resources around that tells what colors Alfa's (Spiders in particular) came out of the factory in any given year? I'm looking for my first Alfa, and beyond the usual red Spiders, I see a few other colors and wonder if they were really offered.

Thanks!

That refers to 1968.I have also the 1969 colors.I will post it later. We are talking about coda tonda spiders (osso di sepia 1966-1969),but the colors basically remain unchanged for the coda tronca spiders (1969-1982).

Note that in the paint code chart posted above that the paint code numbers are not Alfa Romeo paint code numbers. Perhaps they are the paint manufacturers internal code numbers for Alfa colors? Dunno. Generally, Alfa codes are akin to the following;

AR0xx - whites
AR1xx - yellows
AR2xx - greens
AR3xx - blues
AR5xx - reds
AR7xx - grays and silvers
AR8xx - beiges
AR9xx - blacks

There are, of course, some exceptions.

TOR...thank you for your post. I also want to thank Papajam for his extensive list of paint codes. I will be adding his list to my web page with credit and Tor you will also be listed as a contributor.
If anyone has the old 2000/2600 paint codes that would be wonderful. Can anyone get me the Sikkens paint codes?
Thank you!

Chris,

I'll send you a spreadsheet with my list of paint codes next week when I'm back at home. The list is quite comprehensive and includes 2600 but AFAIK nobody is really sure about paint codes for 102 (2000) cars. I talked to a German 102 Touring Spider owner who told me Touring had a separate paint code list from Alfa's list (he knew because he had his car painted thanks to an old fellow who had such a list in his basement).

Ruedi,
Thank you and I will be looking forward to hearing from you. Now if we could find that Touring list of paint codes...
