Alfa Chassis AR1695057 - Help!!!!

This vehicle is in South Africa, allegedly a 1969 1750 Spider. Can anybody enlighten me? Tried Elvira @ Alfa, who's name i've seen mentioned before, but have heard nothing back.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

You can send an email to ArchivioStorico@alfaromeo.com for original manufacture date, color, & engine size. Thats about all the info they provide.

I just sent them a email yesterday and have already gotten a reply.
