The search engine needs an overhaul

It may have been posted here eariler, but the search function of the forum seems pretty weak. Every time I search for something it gives me many threads of no relation. Instead of searching for both words together it just lists every post that has those same two (or three or four) words in it, be it together or not. This may have been covered before, but I remember a while back where the search function found close to what you were looking for, not just the word you were looking for. I love this forum though, and am glad to put up with this annoyance. I am just trying to help out, and not meaning to sound bitchy, thanks for all the great help this forum has given me,
