Greeting from Auto dÉpoca Padova 2006.

First sorry for the picture quality.
This interesting car was exhibited for sale in the private/small dealers section during the fair. I expect that it is a Touring creation from around 1940.
Can anyone identify it.

...and belive it or not this car is a Mercedes. Looks in my eyes very much like the 6C 2500 by Worblaufen.

Thank you for the help of polishing my glasses. To me it was a Touring design. The Wendler Coach builder must have been inspired by a 6C2500.
The 1900 in Castagna impressed me a lot, it was the first time I saw it in real life. To me the design is mush better than any picture can express. I really liked it.
Regarding the Zagato mid engine. There was stated it was a 4CYL, is that correct, to my impression the engine should be a V6 mid engine??.

Al Cortes here in the US had a Castaga bodied 1900 he sold about 15 years ago. I wonder if it is the same car, as there were only something like 10 Castagna bodied 1900s.

Period Castagna photo:

Is the black Alfa a 6c2300B or a 2500? It's hard to tell...
