Talking A QUIZ - 6C and 8C info.

OK, all you ALFA historians - here's a question.

As I've often stated, the 8C 2900 is probably my all-time favorite car. Yes, even over Ferrari.

But, to the question - how many cars carried the 6C or 8C designation???????

To my knowledge, there was a 6C-1750, an 8C-2300 and 2900 but how many others were of that followed that nomenclature?

You have 24 hours to complete this quiz!!!!!!!

Talking Yes!!!

I should have known that you'd be the first to reply. You have quite a knowledge of ALFA!!!

Actually, why not all the variants?

Was there ever a 4C designation?

I've owned ALFAs since the early 70s and I'm amazed at how much history there is on these remarkable cars.

YES!!!! more info.

There are so many variations within a single model designation that perhaps the best thing would be just to use Fusi. It even exists on CD-ROM, so you don't have to pay insane money for the information. I don't think the 4C designation was ever used officially. I think it would just be easier to ask specific questions than to go through everything.

But you didn't use Fusi: 4C1500 page 301

So, summarizing:

4C1500

6C1500
6C1750
6C1900
6C2300
6C2500

8C2300
8C2900
8C-35

12C36
12C37

Plus the variants of each (when any).

The cheaper, single volume of the Tabucchi book will give you an overview of Alfa history, and it's now cheap at Amazon. I think the original US price was $40.

This will also give you an idea what is involved, as there variations within the variations!

Scans of Fusi's Production Numbers (for reference, not dial-up friendly)
