need Giulia ID help

I was wondering if anybody could help me in distinguishing the specifics of my recently acquired Giulia 1600 Spider. It has dual Weber carbs (DCOE) but other than that I can't find any distinguishing marks. The VIN # is 10123

Anybody have any tips?

Thanks in advance - Matt

If you want some info you can email to ArchivioStorico@alfaromeo.com send the vin# and they will give some info about the car.

need giulia id help

Matt, the 10123 is the model indicator, that is 101 model giulia and the 23 indicates a normale model with a single solex carb. You can look on the front firewall on the right side just below the hood ledge you can see the serial number. I have a Fusi book if you list or send me the serial # and olso the engine number which should be located on the left side of the engine just before the junction of the oil pan and block. . That numver should begin with 001 not 005. The 005 would indicate it is an engine from a later series(105) and not the original series. This was a common conversion . It was an easy way to pick up horsepower with minimal modifications. E-mail me if I can help.
