Nice pictutres! A lot of people won't be able to see them though because you need to be a member of Ferrari Chat and logged in to view pictures, just like this site.

Lightbulb Worth joining

Anthony - you are correct in that you must join. But, it's well worth it. I've been a member for a few years and have gleaned a lot of good information on ALFA, FIAT and Ferrari.

With more ALFA enthusiast involved, it may give some Ferrari owners the chance to move up to an ALFA!!!!!!!!

Although I'm very enthusiastic about Ferraris, in my opinion, two of the most beautiful cars EVER designed are the glass roof ALFA Disco and the 8C2900 C.

Is the 1924 RL TF the real car, or the one put together from parts that is in the Alfa museum at Arese? Lurani owned the real one, along with the 8c2900B Le Mans coupe at one time, and as I was realted to him, I actually have gotten to drive both!

6C3000 CM

Yes the history about the Alfa Romeo 6C3000 is a fascinating history. But is it necessary to cross the bridge after water, one year back in this forum the fascinating story was reviled by some very knowledge people, unless it is necessary to educate some on the other site what a real race car back in the 50 could perform

One year later will still no not have answers to various questions posed. BTW, in 1953 the 6c3000CM had the fastest trap speed on the Mulsane straight at LeMans, even though there were other cars that had 1 liter more engine capacity. If I remember correctly, the top speed was 153 mph.

That cutaway is sick.. That signature looks familiar, is he not the same artist thats been creating killer cutaways of Alfa's for awhile? Has he ever been featured on the BB?

This photo of the original makes it possible to compare the original linings of the underneath of the car with the one in the drawing.

Thanks for posting the cutaways. A careful comparison shows the drawing exhibits some "artistic creativity".
Start at the left front with the skin support tubing and you'll see significant changes.
