Regarding Alfa factories, I have read somewhere that there are certain model years for the GT/GTV models where there were very small numbers of cars made due to labor strikes. The car shells, frames, etc. were left unpainted or unprimed in the factories for weeks or months before production started up again. I seem to recall that these years were 1963, 1966, i968, 1970 and maybe one later in the 1970's Does anyone remember and can confirm?

It would be great if someone can share with us this kind of info.
