Alfa Romeo is returning to the USA and this is the response????
Has FIAT cried "Wolf!" one too many times?
Seems like the whole Alfa community is sort of going: I'll believe it when I see it.

Until I start hearing that there are Alfas crawing around a certain building in Ann Arbor, I will not belive it.
It would be nice if they did, and we've officially invited them to the 2007 Convention here in Detroit.

Believe it when I see it on the lot. I won't buy until the 147's get over here, then I will buy two of them one with a twin spark or diesel and one GTA.

I Smell a Pot Boiling...
It costs Fiat nothing to release this type of 'news release' drivel...Talk is cheap, while any Alfa brought to the shores with the current currency exchange imbalance would be stupidly expensive. Just my thoughts...

I've decided to delete my previous posts. But will leave with.
Alfa Romeo designed in Italy, assembled in China. Now that makes us rest assured of quality....Besides you must have been joking....

The prospect of an Alfa being built in China as opposed to Italy might actually be more enticing to many potential American customers.
...and, yes JoeIowa. Fiat has cried wolf too many times.
