What Alfa is it?

A question to all Alfa experts:

What about this car?
Someone know something of its history?

It's a real 1900 that was rebodied in a style similar to the 1961 Ferrari 250 SWB GT in the 1980s.

Stu: Did you notice the "Telaio tubolare degli anni 50" in the description? Any idea if the description is correct and who made it?

I had a talk on the phone with Mr Luzzago regarding this car.
The owner brought back in the 70 some old chassis. Among them where this. He decided to get a car to his own design, and this is the result.
According to Mr Luzzago there is absolutely no history relating to , who build the chassis or the engine.
Mr Luzzago emphasised that it would be easy to build a story around this car, but he would not be a part of history writing.

Hats off to Mr. Luzzago for not wanting to write history!
Any idea what the estimate is for this car?

Nice car, but I would prefer the elegance of the 2000 sportiva or the pure ruggedness of the 6C 3000CM Coupe. BTW, the rubber hose between the carbs and the intake manifold look ugly & scary, but maybe it's a great idea to mate webers to 75 twin spark unit without spending money for the conversion manifold ...

My guess is the car will go for around 60,000 Euros...

Luzzago is one of, if not the most honest calssic car dealers in the world. He does NOT need to BS...

Everythings say is wrong, car was built in Italy 3 years ago and is own by a friend of mine.
Luzzago is the worst dealer in Italy, he have many lawsuit in Italy as he sold cars that he don't own and keep the cash !
I like the ""I would guess Gilco, but I do NOT know for sure. from Stu""

Can I advice that when you don t known, you don t known and don't guess !

I saw the car during his construction and the truth behind it.

Regards
