This race had as many as 600 entries some years, and one year there was a class for cars under 250cc! Many of the 750cc and 1100cc sports-racers were basically small displacement versions of what is generally known in the US as "hot-rods", and for which the term etceterini was coined. The best book on the subject is by Orsini, but it is in Italian (only) and out of print. It includes complete entry lists for every year. Another book that covers many of the small displacement sports racers is called "La Sport E I Suoi Artigiani", and it is alos only in Italian. It is difficult to find in the US, but copies can be gotten from Libreria 'dell Automobile in Milan...
