Alfa Ghia Aigle

Found this picture on a sister website. I confess I've never seen this car before in any forum. At the rear is a 750 Giulietta-style "airplane" license plate light, but the instrument panel looks "1900"

I believe you're correct and that this car is one of the 1955 Ghia-Aigle cars on Alfa 1900 basis. More info on the Ghia-Aigle web page.

Hello Tubut,

Here is another one. Shot at the Spettacolo Sportivo Alfa Romeo on August the 30th on the Assen TT circuit in Holland.

Ciao, Olaf

The cars are:
1955 Alfa Romeo SS Ghia Aigle Cabrio (II) s/n AR 1900C.01959
@ Phil: On which website did you find the photo?
1956 Alfa Romeo 1900 SS Ghia Aigle Coupé s/n AR 1900C.02189

History of both cars is given on my website: Carrosserie Ghia Aigle - Cars

Hi, Stefan -- Welcome to AlfaBB!

Congratulations on your web site. I think it's a great example for a car register. Every time I visit, I learn something more.

I love to see these custom bodied Italian cars. They are truly art! Who else could build them?
