Alfa Club Wine Tour
Featuring Hillebrand Estates
Sunday Aug 20, 2006

Please join us for a scenic drive through wine country, wine tasting, tour and lunch. We will depart from Tim Hortons in Milton at 9:00 am sharp. Dave has selected a route via scenic back roads that will prove to be fun for our vintage cars. There will be a half hour rest stop midway. We plan to arrive at the vineyard around 11:30 am in time to freshen up before the tour and wine tasting which starts at 12:00 noon followed by lunch at 1:00.

A founder in creating memorable wine country experiences, Hillebrand Winery celebrates over 25 years of Winemaking excellence. We will begin our journey with an informative and interactive one hour tour with an emphasis in the vineyard. Tours include a guided tasting of three of Hillebrand’s premium VQA wines, followed by a dining experience which celebrates the best of the region. We have chosen to dine in the Hillebrand Pavilion, with magnificent views of the vineyard and Niagara Escarpment.

Chef Dodd works with local producers and they search the local countryside for produce unique to Hillebrand. Take time to enjoy the bounty of Niagara on your plate, paired with premium Hillebrand VQA wines. We will chose our lunch from the Limited à la Carte menu which offers the choice from three appetizer selections, three main course selections and three dessert selections.

The cost for the lunch is $36.95 plus tax and tip. If you choose to enjoy wine with your meal it is extra. The charge for the tour and wine tasting is $10.00. They will provide individual bills upon request.

After lunch you will be on you own to explore more of wine country or to wend your way home. We look forward to seeing you there.

Please let us know if you will be joining us by emailing Dave at alfadave@gmail.com
