GT exhaust parts

Here are some photos of the rear resonator for a GT (the middle one that I painted black and has a chromed tailpipe, now sold) with a well used other rear resonator (bottom). Top item in photo is a rear stinger with stainless tip, it is in solid condition.
I have the OE front and middle sections, they are well used but could be patched up a bit and put back into service.

Brad, We're still working on my buddies '68 GT Junior 1300. While I was underneath today I noticed that I could stick my fingers into the top of the floor mounted pedal box. The floor mats are still to be installed, but I can look up through the opening into the car. Should there be a cover over the aluminum pedal box and the floor board where the pedals come through and, if so, do you have one for sale?

This is where I think there's a missing cover;

Brad, you're the MAN! Or should I say sei l'uomo Please set it aside. My brother-in-law picked up the quarter window from you a year or so back - I'll see if he's got time to swing by. Failing that, maybe we'll drive down from Sud-city.

....oh yah, how much?

Thanks for the reply John, do you happen to have a picture or a .pdf of this part for the pedals?

Sorry, we don't have any spare parts. This car has been with my friend for over 30 years, and is (mostly) complete.

Yes Brad, thanks. On the other side of the floor boards, where the pedal box lives (out in the open), should there be anything that covers the top opening of that pedal box?

#306 ·
You may be describing the part I got from Brad. That piece mounts inside.

I want to know if there's something to cover the aluminium housing under the car, that the pedal shaft sits in - it's open at the top.... should there be a cover to keep the crud out?

My car is very original, never apart and I only see the Alum pedal box which is a closed housing with shaft , inside car is open which is where the plate goes flush with floor under rubber mats or carpet, I will have to look , I seem to recall a rubber boot somewhere in there,

Does your aluminium pedal box have a cover on the top? This one is open - all along the top, I can feel the shaft if I stick my fingers in, over the ledge along the top edge.

Can't get a picture, car is in storage and I'm at work and can't get away. **** work, always gets in the way.

Brad, Brian here from Sudbury. Any chance you'd have some trunk lid springs for a GT JR? I'm working a bit more on Phill's car and am searching for parts as I find things missing. We may be down that way in November and would stop by.

I don't have a complete pair. I may have parts ie a right side top pad and left side base for example, I will have to check. What parts do you need, do you have some salvageable parts of your arm rests. Did you see the photos of the arm rests in this thread, some GTVs have different ones than I have.
