1986 Spider Veloce
Here is the description that I posted on ebay. Go to the Ebay Listings part on this board for the ebay link and pics. The starting bid is $2500 and I will let it go for that price. Mechanically this car is in decent shape. Engine runs strong. The only mechanical work that is needed is to replace the tie rod ends and center link ends. The parts for this are about $100 and the work is something that anyone who is semi-handy can do themselves. A mechanic would charge for about 2 or 3 hours labor. Also, wiper motor isn't working. It worked last year and car sat all winter, so it could just be a fuse or it might need a new wiper motor. As you can see from the photos, the primary work that needs to be done is body work. The passenger side outer rocker panel is rusted. The rear quarter panel also has some rust as well as minor rust in other areas pictured. Seats need to be upholstered. Dash is cracked from sun. Needs tires. So, basically add some new tires and tie rods and the car can be driven everyday as it is. The body work, particularly the rocker panel should be addressed within the next 6 months to 1 year. I will provide replacement rocker panels for both the driver and passenger side, so all you need to do is cut out the rusted one and weld on the new one. I will also provide a replacement gas door panel assembly that has no rust. I will also provide an extra steering wheel and extra set of side vent windows. This is a great, classic car that can easily be restored by someone who has body work skills or the resources to get the body work done.
