Never thought I would be writing this, but........
I would like to purchase a different car and so would
consider selling my Giulietta Spider. Purchase of the other
car is not possible without sale of this one.
NOTE: My car is only for sale while the other is available. If
the other car is taken off the market or sold I'm keeping mine
and it will no longer be for sale. Here goes......
For Sale: SCCA Gprod Giulietta Spider known to many as the
"101 Octane Boost" car. Built 30 years ago by Tom Mankin who
won the SCCA National Championship Runoffs in this car THREE
times.
Unbelievable history (4 thick logbooks), photos appear
in numerous Alfa publications, cover of SportsCar magazine, Old
vendor catalogs, scale model produced, ect.
Most components "best of the best" type. Chassis completely built
and fabricated by Beck/Orion. 137hp Drysump 105 1300 has proprietary pistons, Carrillo rods, small stem race valves, custom cams, full stainless exhaust, restricted webers, 5.5" clutch, crankfire ignition, latest and greatest infinitely changeable ratio Mk5 Schwitter dog box, real ZF GTA posi, ect ect. Spares include 105 1300 long block, Beck head, new pistons, new valves, same cams, apart. GTA ZF posi, front and rear brakes, rear axle housing, body moulds, hewland gears, and one of almost every custom suspension part, 2 101 1300 engine cores, all of the Solex carbs, cams and tech, even a spare bare donor tub.
Car is legal for SCCA F production, G production, or GTL racing. Probably vintage a few years from now, or very historic track day/time
trial car.
