Even If He Has Availability of the Cars, Are they US Legal?
I noticed that this lister is from Spain. So he may have cars, but they may not be US legal. Nowadays, you would have to pay big bucks to bring it into the US. Our European friends may be better off!

Alfa Parts is a legitimate outfit in Spain... I don't know about meeting import regs, but Alfa has (for many years now) been making their cars so that they meet U.S. regs, and I would suspect that with only 500 8Cs, it would not be difficult to ensure that all regs are met.
Best regards,

Just b/c a car is made consistent US specs does not mean you can bring it in. AFAIK, homologation requires matching VIN to the EPA/DOT license. Each vehicle must conform to a list of VINs assiged to each license. I understand that this change represents why the "grey market" does not legally exist. For example, a 159 may, in fact, meet all criteria or could be modified to do so, but you cannot even import a 159 except under a temporary permit or for a limited (i.e. collection) purpose.
Homologation carries a multi-million dollar up-front cost, and includes sacrificial crash-test cars. You cannot easily slide cars in as one could do even 10 years ago. The guys in SoCal who homologated the Nissan Skylines managed to get in deep dog do with the Feds for playing a bit fast and loose with their license. Jail time.

Anything but red for me. Wouldn't be able otherwise to tell it apart from all the other red ones on the street.
